The interior design and branding for a market and cafe in manhattan’s Upper East Side. Complementary to the market’s bold visual identity, the interiors display a variety of green-stained plywood, splashes of yellow and sharp black contrast.

Custom dining tables were created by pouring concrete over geometrically-laid hand-broken remnants of marble from a local stoneyard. Orbitally-brushed brass countertops lend polish to moroccan irregularly-square tiles, balancing a warm welcome with the neighborhood’s elegance.

A community gathering spot, the seating area in the back features shades of ochre leather upholstery, plywood plinths and organically-shaped green cafe tables. The playful stools and ceramic vases by Shane Gabier offer a wink.
